The Guild Swimming Carnival was a fun day of competition, sportsmanship and Guild spirit for the Years 7-12’s. The students will walk to the pool at 9:00am to be ready for a 9:30am start. Students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive and novelty swimming activities including Freestyle, Breaststroke and Backstroke events. One at a time they swim to the dummy and give him/her their piece of clothes. The cooler temperatures were a welcome relief and the HPS students were fired up and ready to compete in all manner of swimming events…from the fun novelty events in the little pool, to the 12.5m kickboard races and longer 50m events for the older children! The events at our carnival will be age races and novelty events. This will enable numerous opportunities for all boys to be involved in both races and novelty events.
